The Chinedu Ogah Foundation has once again invested in human capacity building and development.
This time, over 50 orphans and indigent students drawn from all the electoral wards of Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Consistency after a series of scholarship exams and more have been selected and enrolled for a full-funded scholarship into the Blessed Martins International School, Abakaliki, one of the high ranking schools in the city of Abakaliki.
The foundation will be spending about 50 Million Naira annually to give these students the best education available in the State.
The students shall be on scholarship from JSS 1 to SS III and shall be sponsored by the Foundation through the university following their academic performances.
The Chinedu Ogah Foundation is a non-governmental organization but a scheme tailored to caring for humanity and fully funded by Hon. Comrade Chinedu Ogah, OON, Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly. The Foundation has been offering scholarships to students in the University for the First Degree, Master’s Degree, and Doctorate Programs but this time, the Foundation has elected to start from secondary school in training them.
The Co-Founder of the Foundation, Chief (Mrs.) Mary Chinedu Ogah said the Foundation has offered the students a fully-funded scholarship costing about N50M annually and shall be providing them with every basic necessity while urging them to be of good conduct and reciprocate the kind gesture by studying hard to make the Foundation proud.
From the parents, Mr. Nweke Simon from Ikwo LGA, Mrs. Chidimma Joseph from Ezza South, and one of the students, One Chinaza Mirabel appreciated the foundation for the scholarship saying that it will stand as an upliftment to the soul education.
